    Day jobs?

Schmoopy I never did graduate from High School but I was able to retire at the age of 43 back in 1993 (thank goodness with the health that I'm in now). Like yourself numbers were very easy for me to understand what days I did go to high school I drove the math teachers crazy because I aced all...

:cool01:  It's not bashing it's called stating the facts. By the way in China it's rat on a stick and I do believe that the cat is safe unles it tries to eat dinner. I almost forgot that's a great looking gitter.  :glasses9:

    Hollow Wenge Bass Body

Thanks I be likin' it. I don't remember the weight and I didn't write it down. It's heavy but all of my 6 strings have been heavier. The main way to handle a little extra weight is to use a wide strap and really good locks. I like the combination of woods that you put together I too can't wait...

Please help a Warmoth "newbie" out - Should I build???

DO NOT SELL YOUR COLLECTION  REPEAT  DO NO SELL YOUR COLLECTION.  I'll be 58 in a few days and believe me I've had more women that guitars but I do regret not keeping all of the guitars and basses that I owned over the years. Someone so young with so many toys can find a way to put together a...

Schaller BML bass tuners a little loose fit

Sorry Jack but those holes were drilled for the BML. If the holes were drilled 1/2 mm larger then the BMLs would have just dropped in. Instead the last 2 to 3 mms is were resistance was felt that's when I pushed them in will a little pressure to seat them. My fix is to apply a little super glue...

Schaller BML bass tuners a little loose fit

I received most of the hardware to put on my Wenge body and neck but when I put the farrells (ferrells or however it is spelled) in the front they went into the predrilled holes that Warmoth drilled in the headstock with very very little resistance. Now I have several ideals as to how to fix...

    Not wood but other materials

Too much American Chopper I don't think so. Check out the strat that Fender made several years ago. But how would it sound using the same medal for both the body and neck. Shouldn't you use a hollow stainless steel body with an aluminum neck and should the hardware become woodware. Maybe I've...

Natural jazz bass, right out of the seventies

:hello2:  That jazz bass is a lot nicer than any Fender jazz that I saw in the 70s' and I'm sure that it plays a lot easier. Nice job.  :cool01:

    Tele Thinline Special

Now I wouldn't mind being seen out in public with her. I'm not a big fan of pickguards but that tele looks great with that one. Great job Jack.

Oh Mama, I think I'm on to something...

I like what you are doing to the headstock and that beautiful fretboard doesn't hurt it either.
