What I really like about the Gotoh VS-100 is the lockable (just tighten down the hex screw) saddles.
Are there any fixed bridges that have a similar (lock down the saddles) feature?
I have a bridge on my 1980s Warmoth hard tail and would love to find an other like it.
Maybe someone here has seen it before?
I got it from a local luthier's junk drawer and I think I remember that he said it was taken off of some ~off brand~ guitar when he installed a trem for that client...
I still have do do some micro measuring before committing to either the .125 or .175 but I am 'suspecting' I'd not be able to get a high enough action with the .125.
UPDATE: I measured my old 1980s hard-tail Warmoth and even the .175 won't give me a high enough action -
and I even have it set...

GFS Vintage '59 - Neck = 8K - Bridge = 8.5K - Both Alnico V

On an other subject - but still pot related.
I have two very nice older Emerson 1 meg pots. Very nice loose feel. Very clean lugs.
Has anyone tried 1 meg pots for Volume or tone on humbuckers?
I wonder how much brighter a 1 meg is compared to a 500K.
I guess I'd have to hear the difference to...
