THank you!  It's definitely an ash body I used minwax ebony stain added to ole masters oil based grain filler.  THey recommend a ratio of 2:1 filler to stain, but I was probably closer to 1:1.  Looking back I'd probably try to stain the filler some other way so it doesn't get quite so diluted. ...

My neck is korina.  I grain filled slightly with pore filler tinted black and covered with tru oil and wax.
