    Vaughn Skow pick ups

    I have used WGS speakers and been farily happy, I see they are repping/distributing the Vaughn Skow pick ups, anyone have any experience? I am looking at "Vaughn's Velvet Custom Telecaster® Set" PS he had an interesting blog post on partscaster guitars.

    Any downside to getting the universal route in a Strat?

    I think universal routes would be easier to line with cooper tape................... ..............pause for another  back and forth discussion on perceivable difference in sound.......................
