I thought so.  What's nicer is the body is a two piece Alder, versus 3 piece. Luck of the draw I guess.

Thus far..  Busted out the Soldering iron last night, installed the Lace Burgundy, and resoldered to the Jackplate, Trem Ground. Just awaiting the Neck from Warmoth!

Here's the story.  I saw an ad somewhere, a guy took a Squire Bullet, modded it out with Mid -to- high priced stuff (Trem, pickups, tuners) and wondered why he was disappointed with it.    :laughing11:  I bought it off him for pennies on the dollar, and I had $300 in decent parts to work with...

Yep. Got the body through Stratosphere.  I know the Hwy1 has a funky finish, but don't care, as it's still US spec, sanded and sprayed with Nitro in Mexico. This one is new, but has a ding in it somewhere, so it went cheaper than the others. All the better.
