Fatback
I play using classical guitar technique (with the thumb near the middle of the neck):
and nothing feels as good as the Fatback.
I can understand people who play with thumb-over-neck wanting a thin profile neck.
I love this new headstock shape. And I love Warmoth Fatbacks...so I may have to order one of these!

I myself will be sticking to the fatback profile. Love that baseball bat!
(I started out on classical guitar and use the classical hand positioning, with the thumb on the back of the neck. Fat necks work best for me.)

I didn't notice anything with the compound neck. I have 5 Strats with a 9.5" radius, one Strat with a 7.25" radius and a Warmoth Fatback with compound radius on the 7th Strat. I switch between them all the time with no problem.
I DO notice that Fatback neck though!!! Love it.
As for scallops...
