It looks like the ZS-3 nut (for Martin) might work for 1-5/8 width. It has the correct string spacing, I just need to file off about 1.5mm on each side of the nut.

My local luthier swears by zero glide nuts, so I took his advice, and will buy one for my upcoming build. The issue is, I have no idea which model to use on the tiltback neck I am getting. I called warmoth, and they said that any nut about a 1/4 in thick will probably work, but they don't have...

I definitely will do a build thread. I think so many teenagers or just people in general (though kids tend to learn things easier) would benefit greatly from playing an instrument. Not just school band, but actually developing a passion for it.
