am I going to like the Wizard as much as my Jackson Dinky neck?

I had used a shami on Minwax poly.. The spary sounds like a better way to go. So: 1. spray it on 2. wait an hour and repeat..4-6 times 3. sand with 2000 wet 4. steelwool with 0000 5. clean with naptha 6. wax it Am I missing anything?

am I going to like the Wizard as much as my Jackson Dinky neck?

My new Wizard neck shipped out today. Its going on a Strat body. Figured maple, Rosewood, 6100 frets Schaller holes and a white tusq nut. I bought mine unfinished. I'm going to use a clear gloss poly by Minwax to finish it. I used it on another neck as well. Its awesome to look at and its a...

to wizard or not to wizard that is the question

I just bought a Wizard that was available with rosewood.. a rarity for sure.. I really like the 80's Charvel Jackson neck profile.. So, based on what I have read here the Warmoth Wizard should be exactly what I want. Can't wait for it to get here.. 7 days I would guess.. I too own a Jackson...

    Wizard neck profile

I recently played an 87 a Jackson model 3 and really like the lean neck.. Does anyone out there have a Wizard shape Warmoth neck.. Do you like it? How much different does it feel  than a standard thin profile? Are the edges rolled?

Here are the pictures... Yea, I know... They're late.... But The guitar is hot..... The Chevalier 59's are awesome pickups....... The serial number is JC48.. I had the plate made to vintage spec.. Its brass with a chrome finish and kinda ruff cut like the early 50-60's guitars. The JC48 was a...

Can you believe these Fender "American Special" Strats and Teles?

I am not a guitar Basher at all so don't take this the wrong way... I've seen at least a dozen of these at a few dealers locally... They look a lot like and feel like a MIM guitar. Nothing special about them.. However they are made in the USA... That's enough for me when parked next to a MIM for...

Tonal difference between Ash & Alder strats

Best way I know how to explain it is... Alder is Mahogany on an acoustic, Swamp ash is Rosewood.. I have both and love each equally.. If you have alder now, Get the swamp ash.. You will not regret it. Just make sure you buy a body that is light weight......... Go for it.
