Oh, man. I completely destroyed a neck trying to install these. It was a "throw away" neck that I never really had any plans for, but I mean I completely butchered that thing. I drilled the holes to the recommended size but both the inserts and the wood around the edge of the holes completely...

The tuners actually came from Warmoth. Best tuners you can get IMO. And yeah I can't keep the poly/nitro thing straight. You guys are correct.

That's really cool. Rob's a super cool dude. I had a problem with a neck, which was really just my dumbass not knowing which way to turn the wrench to take relief out of the neck. He was really down-to-earth about it all and handled it like a true pro.

Warmoth's "6105" fret wire really confuses me. I realize that 6105 is only a reference number, but their dimensions are quite different than all the other 6105's I've seen. Almost every other website and catalog lists the dimensions as .090 x .055. I've even ordered a Warmoth neck with 6105's...

Don't make it any more complicated than it need to be. Buy some SKYY vodka and your favorite juice. Doesn't matter. ANY juice works. Pour a couple jiggers of vodka into a glass and fill it the rest of the way with juice and you'll be feelin good in no time.

Mine isn't quite walking yet, but I've already resigned to the fact that someday soon I'm going to come home and find my guitars refinished with diaper cream. Still not sure how I'm going to keep the little guy away from them.
