24 fret neck on a strat

I agree with stratmania stated with one qualification.  If your body has what is known as a bathtub route, then it could be as simple as just a different pickguard.  As he stated though, you will need to take the guitar apart to verify.

You might want to look at the Warmoth bass neck builder just to verify.  I did the guitar builder. Mike

    Walnut neck feedback/info

I can only reply to one part of your series of questions on the walnut neck.  Finishes are needed on all wood necks except those made from oily woods or “roasted” woods.  Most finishes can be had in gloss, semi-gloss and matte. I just recently purchased a maple neck from Warmoth with a matte...

Strat body for a powercaster neck

One question. Do you really want the PowerCaster decal?  If not, I would go with the Warmoth conversion neck that will drop into a standard bridge position body and intonate properly.  You could get your bridge and bridge pickup routed at the factory.  There are topics On this forum about decal...

    Walnut/maple Piezo Strat Build

Finished up the wiring.  It is a bird nest with the addition of the piezo wiring in the control cavity.  Plan on getting some mini zip ties to clean it up.  Awaiting on some black pickup height adj screws before I string it up.  Also awaiting some maple volume/tone knobs.  Don't like the...

    Walnut/maple Piezo Strat Build

I play at my smaller church and sometimes they want the acoustic sound, but having had shoulder surgery I don’t have an acoustic guitar.  Throws my shoulder into an uncomfortable position.  Hoping this will suffice.

    Strat rear route pickup wires

Ok, so once I looked closer at the relationship of the slot to the pickup hole, I realized that it is just about 1/8" in.  By making the pickup wires as straight as possible and then angling them into the hole, they slipped straight down. We are good to go!

    Strat rear route pickup wires

Any good tips on feeding the neck and middle pickup wires down the channel to the control cavity on a rear route strat?

    Walnut/maple Piezo Strat Build

All, About a month ago I received my box from Warmoth and posted the pictures.  I was going in for hernia surgery a couple of days later.  Well, I am through surgery and things are going fine.  Last weekend, I started work on my build. Background: Body: Maple/Walnut veneer. chambered, f-hole...

Which neck would have smaller spacing between frets? 24"/22fret or 7/8 / 24fret

Spacing between frets starts largest at the nut and is directly a function of scale length.  A 24” scale length will always start with a smaller spacing than a 24.75” scale length.  The frets near the nut would be the ones to check to see if small hands can deal with the spacing. Whether it is...
