    Thank you, if nothing less, you've helped me frame my question better. The ohms law certainly appies here measuring the wraps around the magnets. Hense the higher the resistance the more wraps that are on the pickup. Then the total resistance of two pickups combined (a paralell circuit) equaling...

    Did I mention that this problem or situation is on a Baritone neck. I though of using the wheel adjustment nut, bought it, went to install it and found some thing else. The nut Warmoth uses on the Baritone necks are like 3" long. Which means the threds don't start until about 3" up the neck...

    What is noticeable to my ear is the output from the guitar when the the 5 position selector switch is in position 4 and 2, in between two pickups. Also, when a Blender circuit is put in it is noticeable to my ear when the all three pickups are on at the same time that there is a drop in output...

    It isn't unusual to cut a notch in the top center of the neck pickup rout (about 1/4"-1/2" deep and 1/4" wide) on a non vintage strat or tele for just that reason. Wanted to say thank you for that. I cut the notch with a Rat Tail file. Works perfect. probably still have to take the strings...
