I want to use one of my Gibson scale conversion necks on a body I'm doing for a friend. He wants a Mockingbird style body and they are 24 3/4" scale length. Do I measure from the nut to 24 3/4" for bridge placement or put the bridge at 25 1/2" inches. I know it is a really dumb question but what...

That would be an eye catching finish for sure. I've been using penetrating oil on some repair jobs lately and like the final look. color will be from Transtint dyes then the penetrating oil as a finish. This is a body I've been using to experiment on with dyes and body contours. It's a Basswood...
