You and me both!  I'll be putting cream P-Rails with Cream pup rings and retaining the chrome/nickleish Line6 bridge and knobs and putting grover deluxe keystone tuners and an ivory earvana drop in nut.  Everything should be here by mid next week and then the fun begins!

There's a good chance you have nut slot issues on that 1st string.  Likely a little too wide for the string you have in there.

It hasn't dried completely, but it's very close to raw, just a little oily/slippery (imagine that!).  I'm guessing when it dries the feel will be very simliar to the raw feel, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Fantastic, thanks for the advice!  I just finished putting a coat of lemon oil on, and I'm very happy with the results.  I will definitely go the finer sanding route to give it bit more sheen and smoothness.  Thanks again.
