That black cherry is BLACK black cherry. Like literal black cherry soda in a large glass you gotta hold up to light to see any red. Back in Jackson's golden age when they had several dozen finishes you could choose, they had a gorgeous black cherry just slightly more cherry than Warmoth's.
That sucks. Then again, I had no idea this shape even existed! Looks cool. I had a similar psych-out with their 7-string body. It's not in the popup menu, but it's on the guitar bodies page.
That's dope they used blocks instead of just a checkered finish. I wonder what the process was. If they were smaller you could turn it over and play chess. 🔥
I think the neck looks a hair off at the heel. Low E riding the edge all the way to the 22nd fret, high E further in. Probably not the issue but I'd adjust it anyway.
Ahhh so we're not talking about a "Strat" but a Warmoth partscaster. And the nut slots being too high could def be a problem. I recently removed the tiny shim under my locking nut and was blown away by how much easier it plays and also surprised by no extra buzz.
Side note: does Warmoth cut the...
^Anything's possible. Is the low or high E too close to the edge? Are you not able to get a comfy action with slight neck relief?
I think you should try Stringjoy. For wound smoothness I feel it's Stringjoy > Daddario > Ernie Ball. Though if it's the plains giving you a problem I dunno.
Maybe...
There's no Dunlop 6115. It's Jescar 51108.

Now I'm even more baffled that they use Dunlop numbering for Jescar frets.
I'm talking about actual 6100. The misnaming thing is weird but ultimately trivial.
No I do like 6100. That's the point. 😂 They really should fix it. But yeah I was thinking "6115" (they made that one up 😭) might be a good alternative.
They don't offer jumbo. It's a few medium jumbos and super jumbo. They use Jescar frets but Dunlop nomenclature because it's more popular (even though Jescar's makes more sense with the numbers being height and width). For Jescar 58118 they call it 6100 probably because that's what most people...
You're right about the baritone. Which makes it all the more curious that they chose to redo all the math for 25" on a 7-string of all things.
As for Kahler it "worked" but just barely. I had to replace the stock saddle screws with flat heads to clear the strings, that's how low the saddles had...
Because you're worked up for some reason. "Rectify" was the word YOU introduced and there's no difference between communicating a problem and "complaining to them." You're being quarrelsome. I've returned bodies for them to redo before, no issue. This particular time I trusted their advice to...
