I'm guessing that if the top is curved where the bridge sits, this means that bridges that have a flat base like a Strat hardtail wouldn't work.
You can get this Schaller TOM style that has adjustable string spacing, but you may need to use an adapter stud/insert to fit in the TOM stud holes...
I do like the look of these, though I agree that Dinky seems a slightly strange choice of name because of the association with Jackson. I might have called it a J-Caster, though that could possibly cause confusion with the Jazzcaster shape.
If you're not specifically looking for a TOM, the Gotoh and Wilkinson tremolos both have 54mm spacing, as does the Floyd Rose. In some places it says 53mm for some of these, but if you look at the actual spec it's 54 (10.8mm between strings.)
AFAIK, bubinga hasn't been available as a fretboard wood in the builder for a long time (at least 6 months, probably longer)
I assumed it was because Warmoth had difficulty getting more stock.
I prefer a flat plate Tele bridge to the vintage style ones with the raised edges.
Another interesting (if expensive) thing I have seen recently in Tele-world is the Vega Trem VT2, which mounts the tremolo springs inside the six string-through-body holes so no routing is necessary...
Presumably Warmoth could come up with a doublecut design that is different enough to Gibson's to avoid legal trouble, just as the Regal is different enough to a Les Paul.
The question is whether they think they would get enough sales for it to be worth doing the design work.
