I got a custom Warmoth Strat for a gift and the string spacing is way off.  The nut measures 1 9/16 and it has the vintage bridge which makes the spacing too wide.  The neck is narrow for me anyway so if I go up to the 1 11/16 will that correct the spacing?  Other Strats with a 1 11/16 nut match...

I have the same exact problem.  No question it's a mismatch and I don't know how this escapes the Warmoth people.  It's not your playing or something you need to work around.  I have plenty of other guitars and they don't have this silly string spacing problem.  I've talked to Warmoth reps twice...
