No, I got my jack from my guitar teacher who had his EMG thing laying around. Any other suggestions?

Okay, so I had a diagram of the EMG 81/85 ZW set. I soldered everything nice and clean to the pots, toggle, etc. Now for some reason, when I plug in my guitar all the way in, it won't sound, BUT plug it in half way and both pickups work, but the toggle doesn't. Any idea as to what the hell is...

My guitar is coming back sometime either this week or next week. I hope to get it ASAP so I can start building! The wiring is the only thing I'm not exactly excited for..

I really hope I don't spend a year building this guy. As soon as I get it back from being painted I'm gonna go nuts! :D

Well my guitar is going to be my metal guitar. So I'm going to probably slap on some REALLY thick strings on them. Is the intonation process going to take longer because of that?

Have you ever wired EMG (active, not HZ's) before? Is it any easier?
