Longtime Fractal user here, but even longer modeling fan (started with the Art SGX2000).  You can't go wrong with the Axe FX.

Being a lifelong Egyptology fanatic and collector, that body would be a dream to own.  Simply beyond breathtaking. Count me in!

Love Callaham upgrade parts, use them on all my USA Bigsbys.  The front roller and string through in particular are must haves.

I dig the simple (but now "endangered") Rosewood for a darker tone myself.  Not a maple fan, so ebony is my go to for a brighter sound.  But- it's all cork sniffin' for most, PUPs, string type and your amp settings dictate more than the board wood ever will...

I tend to like Alder for my Strats, Swamp Ash for my Teles.  The Alder seems to give a little more "body" to the single coils, and teh Ash a little better "twang" to the Tele PUPs...

I've used Titebond, but find simple Elmers works just as well.

I always use a dab of Elmers- works great, easy to clean up with the next nut change.

I debated too long and missed out.  Great to see the final products, but jealous as well. :)

My go-to's are Jim Wagner PUPs, in particular Godwood in the bridge and a Crossroads in the neck.  Warm, sweet and full.
