Perfect! Should I simply solder the ground wire to the bottom part of the bridge before attaching the bridge to the body?

I will have a Hipshot Hardtail Bridge with Strat wiring (rear route). I assume I will need to ground the bottom of the Hipshot to the volume pot. Will there be a ground wire hole to the bridge or will I have to drill?

I‘m pretty sure it’s a Fender 1uF cap for a treble bleed.

Is there a way to tell what type of capacitor this is by its markings?

I just ordered everything. I have no idea how long it takes for them to make these. I’m sure it varies by wood and finishing selections. How long does it typically take?

Yet another example of bad advice I got from my local guitar tech. He once told me to take steel wool to the back of the neck to buff out imperfections in the finish. It seemed questionable at the time—glad I didn’t try it.

I dropped my phone on the treadmill and when I picked it up my phone was sideways changing the orientation of the forum. I can now see links and pictures in everyone’s signatures. Strange but cool that I now know.

“Burnish”? Like with steel wool? Should I do the neck and fretboard? They will both be Roasted Flame Maple.
