Turquoise Burst Chambered GK synth Tele

Thanks! I can tell you, it was an absolute bitch to cut out - it's made from 2 or 3 mm stainless steel, so I could polish it up like chrome (which I still haven't gotten around to) - but stainless steel is soooo hard to work with.

Turquoise Burst Chambered GK synth Tele

Thanks a lot, guys! :) All 3 guitars have Warmoth necks as well - standard thin, the HS tele has flamed roasted maple, the new one has standard roasted maple, and the white one has birdseye maple - all 9,5" (needed for the GK pickup - although I prefer compound radius), and EVO gold 6150 frets...

Turquoise Burst Chambered GK synth Tele

Well, it all started with browsing the showcase, as I do just about every night - and there it was, a beautiful flame maple capped, swamp ash chambered tele body. It was love at first sight - for some reason they are pretty rare in the showcase and last time I saw one, it got snatched before I...

Yet another Tele-Synth project - now with humbuckers!

Well, this WIP thread was a complete failure - I got so excited about it, having some very busy weeks lately, and only having friday and this sunday to complete it (I really wanted it do be assembled so I could tweak it before next weeks gigs), I completely forgot to take pics.  :icon_biggrin...

Yet another Tele-Synth project - now with humbuckers!

Hooray! After 11 ½ weeks of looooong waiting time (I'm a bit surprised at how long it took, to be honest), I've gotten a UPS mail, telling me it's arriving tomorrow.  :guitarplayer2: Very much looking forward to getting my sweaty palms on the neck and body, and starting the project. :)

Yet another Tele-Synth project - now with humbuckers!

Hi guys - some of you may remember my last tele-synth project (found here http://unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=24564.msg356126#msg356126 ). Since then, our quintet have become a quartet, and while we were quite sad to see a good buddy and a great musician having to leave, it was also a...

White bound tele w. synth pickup.

Thanks! I used the traditional tele bridge because I think they sound a lot better than more modern types. I haven't noted any difference in sound from cutting away the wall, neither on this or my other tele. I run the synth at full volume all the time (hence no volume control or switch on...

White bound tele w. synth pickup.

Yay! I've worked hard both this friday and saturday, and gotten it all put together. A few pics of the process: Routing out for the control plate: I ordered the guitar with rear rout, because I wanted lots of room for the GK (Synth) electronics - I still wanted a controlplate though, I...

White bound tele w. synth pickup.

Hi guys, and thanks! The bridge issue will be solved by filing off 5 mm's of each "wall". I could have solved it by using another, more modern bridge, but I really like the look and especially the sound, of this kind of bridge. I've done it before on another guitar, and it doesn't change the...

White bound tele w. synth pickup.

Hi there - new user here, but long time Warmoth fan - I've built 5 or 6 warmoth guitars before, among others a VV (Axis shape), but for the last couple of years I've been crazy about teles, and I wanted something special. First of all, the specs: Arctic white, black bound swamp ash body...
