Went ahead and entered mine even though I'll be on the road. 

Leaving for Sturgis, SD on the 5th so I'll probably be on the road and won't get to vote.  There's some very nice entries this month as well, but I'm kind of diggin' on Updown's guitar.

The brass bezel around the pickup is the result of a "slip-o-the template" while routing the pickup cavity. I like the way it turned out but wish I hadn't screwed up in the first place. That "slip-o-the-template" actually worked in your favor, as the brass bezel maintains the lines of the body!

Hey Telenator,  I'll try to check your band out in Sturgis this August.  My wife and I ride up there every year.  Great looking bass btw!

Another tough month to choose, but I really like the Thunderbird bass.

I have the contoured heel so it's not that difficult to reach the higher frets, but a soloist body would be ideal IMHO.  I just wanted the 7/8 body.
