Hey guys, I'm still kicking around occasionally. I bought the goncalo/macassar 30" scale bass neck. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet, but it will be my first goncalo. Just too pretty to pass up, especially at that price. I'll slow build I think.

My favorite bridge is the badass 2, which I think is still unavailable and has been reincarnated as the omega. Solid as a rock and looks cool as hell. My go to tuners are the fender f-stamps. Solid as a rock, and look cool as hell. These have a couple pin holes that need drilling, just FYI...

Most bass bodies range from 5 to 8 pounds, and can go into double digits. I've done many bass guitars with Warmoth bodies. This koa body is feather light by comparison. YMMV.
