There is actually a meadowhawk on reverb currently, only $4500. Looks like the dude stripped the pups and controls...

ONE piece solid KOA electric guitar. Has anyone made one?

Most bass bodies range from 5 to 8 pounds, and can go into double digits. I've done many bass guitars with Warmoth bodies. This koa body is feather light by comparison. YMMV.

Weird how the photos are gone. That was me with the z bass. The body is the lightest I own at under four pounds. And the forum doesn't seem to like my links anymore.

    Does anyone build mooncasters?

I loves me some mooncasters... basses. The vintage tint swamp ash second from the right is the one I pick up the most.

    Favorite neck woods?

I swear by pau ferro. For both looks and feel. Raw and burnished, amazing stuff.

    GAS Alert!!!!

With Bagman's stamp of approval, what can go wrong? After much internal debate, and my wife's approval, I pulled the trigger. I think I'll call it "Number Nine" (No.9).

Many Warmoth builds on here seem to have one thing in common.

The room where I play/practice is in my basement, which has low ceilings. You can usually spot my builds by the white paint marks on the top edges of the neck headstocks.

New video: Aaron Breaks a AAA Roasted Flame Maple Neck

GIF serves two purposes.  I choked back a tear when the neck crackled.  And I do miss the hair, man.
