Yes - very tedious but really worth the effort. I did these last year - it's amazing how much the finish hardens after 6-8 months - and continues to get harder.

Just completed this Warmoth SS (32") P lined fretless. Danish oil finish - 11 coats. The process was very time consuming (two days between each coat and a week or so after the final coat). Buffed with 0000 steel wool and a little paste wax - another week or so before assembly. The finish takes...
