I bought the hipshot from Stewmac. Mine came with the 6 holes in the plate for the saddle's screws not 100% aligned, so the saddles were slightly diagonal. I made the holes a little wider ad problem solved.  I dont't know if mine came with this problem or all of them are like this. Saddles are...

Thanks for all the comments!!! I ordered an angled paddle and did the headstock rout myself.

Here it is... almost done!!!!!!!!!! I tried white, cream and  black mounting rings, being black the best match for me. (since all hardware is chrome/black) I'm waiting for the custom decal that goes al the headstock. :guitaristgif:

From the official GOM rules: "Non winnnig instruments may be submitted in future contests for which they fit that months criteria". This means that here we have 13 guitars that could perfectly win any other pro finish GOM contest..... am I right???? This is going to higher the level of...

The body will be finished during this month. Vintage light Amber is the final color of the body. Can´t wait to play with it. :guitaristgif:

I think Vintage amber is winning!!!!!!!! First, I want to have a trans finish. Second, I'll leave unpainted al mahogany (redish tone)....so the top has to be a calid color to match the rest of the body. To have it green....I'll have to paint the back & sides. Something like this or a little...
