Well, mismatched combination of pickups didn't work for me, so I replaced black one, that was too hot for me, with another zebra one that is in the same weight category as SH-4/498T/etc. So now this is cool rock-bluesy kind of guitar!:) When I split humbuckers I get very close to the strat...

Well, I had to rebuild my guitar after a week of playing. Padouk/Pao Ferro was a bad mate for the korina body. Korina sounds quite bright on its own, it has strong uppermids and it's cool! But Padouk/Pao is brighter and it's appeared that it makes korina sound to harsh with some steel feeling on...

It sounds very enjoyable acoustically! But I still have to find best pickups for my purposes and what is more important: guitar amplifier.

It's called 'Contoured heel' and this feature has been there for a long time:)

Local luthier did the finish and I'm not sure if it's nitro or anything else, I know it's satin and I like satin finishes:) I don't drop picks a lot, but I like to have them to be attached to guitar. 

I bought the body from stock, the only thing that I did is drilled holes for pots and 3-way switch. (Did I get you Q correct?)

I forgot to mention that when A/B tested necks, it was quite fair test: Both necks have the same Warmoth Pro construction and same SS6150 frets, same nut, same locking tuners. I installed same strings and I have same Wilki tremolo on my both guitars. So I took one neck, played with it enough...
