I put a pair of their A4`s in a Tokai LP and they transformed it! Really good pickups imho!Have a set of the vintage specs in my blackguard tele rep and they sound good also.Very good value for money!
Look for a guy with username Strungout20088 I think it is,on Ebay uk,he does various Fender tints for necks/bodies in spraycans (nitro).I`ve used it on one neck and found it to be good stuff.
As no one had any suggestions to make I`ve ended up trying a set of BKP`s Yardbirds, only had them in a few days but I`m impressed! Clear and bright, but not the sort that takes your head off!
I those handwritten 3 decimal place numbers are the nut width, why don`t Warmoth use it in their neck descriptions on the `Showcase for sale` necks instead of just 1.5/8,1.11/16 etc?
One of my W necks described as 1.11/16 was a hair off 1.3/4,so why not describe them as accurately as they...
Yeah JimBeed ,I`m pretty sure we are correct, but when someone comes up with these things you start to doubt yourself! (And I`m not worried enough to start pulling neacks off to prove/disprove it! LOL! )
What do the written nos found on Warmoth necks relate to? Example 1.679, 1.628
I always thought it was the weight, someone else reckons it`s the nut width but I can`t see why you would need 3 decimal place accuracy for that !
Thanks
They seem too cheap for the spec, just really wonder if they`ll hang together ! I assume they have pcb mounted valves and the usual iffy manufacturing generally used in cheap chinese amps.
Thanks.
It certainly is! I built a Swamp ash/CBS r/w fretboard strat last year,it`s not chambered tho`.Sounds really good too! Both it and Tele are in the gallery section, see what you think!Cheers.
Really just looking for all owners/players opinions as these are not everyday guitars in the UK.I`m happy with mine as it is really, but you always wonder "what if" don`t you ???
Mine is Ash/Ash with r/w fretboard.
