I wanted to start on the wiring before the p'ups arrived so I got a schematic off the internet.  I think it was for an Epiphone Sheraton.  They had the capacitor off the tone pot tied to the volume pot lead with the wire from the pick up.  I installed the pick ups without looking at the wiring...

I'm still amazed at the quality of the neck and body.  I sure you'll be pleased when your boxes arrive.  Looking forward to your pic's.

At last a body to go with that neck.  I can't believe how light it feels.  The shop did a great job on the finish.  Only waiting on the pup's now - a pair of Seymour Duncan SH-1's.

The neck finally arrived but the body is in Vancouver Customs today.  I couldn't wait to get started on it.  Macassar Ebony fingerboard on mahogany with quilt maple veneer.  Thanks to the guys that posted on this website about tuner alignment on a Warmoth Peghead. 

Nice to see another L5S hollow body with f holes.  I received the neck for mine today and expect the body tomorrow.  Pictures to follow shortly. :occasion14:
