Hey guys, I just put the first coat of water-based poly on my guitar's body (with a brush). Although I tried to make the coat as thin as pobbile, I got some runners, so what do I do now? (sorry, I'm all new to this and read so many things... Don't know what to do when anymore :)) Thanks! David.

Thanks for your answer, I'll start looking for another finish. The poblem is that I'd like a satin finish though and most alternatives for PU are shiny (right?).

The kind of pickguard is a difficult choice, but I think the hardware should definately be gold!
