Newbie Questions(1st MdHk build): 1- what brand & where abouts ordering a wiring harness for a Meadowhawk? 2- 250pots or 500s? 3- Do I need long shaft pots? 4- is the body’s thickness adequate to install a front mounted True Tone output jack (similar to a SG or Epiphone)? TIA, Davis

Thanks, people! (that was a typo… I meant “don’t allow”) I’m new to this… and I prefer Gibson scale length… but after reading explanations I understand that changing the heirloom scale length flies in the face of “Vintage” IDing. Thanks

Does anyone know the reason when building a Tele one pc Vintage neck(skunk stripe), the options do allow Gibson scale?

I waited 18wks for my swamp ash, green transparent, satin finished tele replacement body to arrive. It came in perfect. Amateurishly, I accidentally got some StewMac Sheilding Paint on the forearm contour(and it dried). In my attempt to buff it out, I’ve created a shiny spot the size of a nickel...
