Are there any alternatives to Warmoth Superwide?

My Warmoth Superwide fits a standard neck pocket in a standard body, but the heel is rather ridiculous mounted that way.  I'm hoping to reshape it some, as IMHO it looks terrible.  Grade of D- on the heel design, or not providing some different spec for the body to fit.  This was a new build...

    Bill Lawrence L-45 sound check

It's good to see that your superwide fits the body just as poorly as mine does. What bridge did you use?  I got one with the larger "vintage" spacing.  However, those are usually used with Fender humbuckers which were also very wide. I have a Fender stacked N3 Noiseless Tele Bridge pickup I...

    Single pickup Tele for rhythm

What's the pole piece spacing on that (low "E" center to high "E" center).  This is REALLY wide for a neck pickup. For the bridge pickup I have a Fender Stacked N3 Noiseless Tele Bridge and was hoping that would work, but even if I mount it straight across instead of at an angle the pole pieces...

    Single pickup Tele for rhythm

How did this build go? I had some issues with mine. It really would fit better if I made the body with some wood on either side of the neck pocket, not quite a standard Tele body. I had some really nice bridges, but this really called for the wider "vintage" tele saddle & string spacing...

Are there any alternatives to Warmoth Superwide?

(bringing thread back from the dead) I tried the "Big Lou" It arrived missing the truss rod.  But worse, the fret were not straight, not parallel.  They were cocked randomly, obviously the fret slots in the fingerboard were hand-cut without any kind of guide!  Fortunately, the refund and apology...
