Well that stinks, but it’s understandable that a company wouldn’t continue producing an alloy that has such a limited use case.

While daydreaming and browsing the other day I noticed the option for Gold fret wire is gone. Any chance this is coming back in the future? Not a huge deal but I was leaning that way for my build (whenever I get around to saving enough for the neck and body…)

Yeah, I’ll be chewing it over as I save up, like I said, it’s not really about solving a particular problem, more about deciding if I like it enough to warrant any headaches of doing it. 😂 Definitely no intentions to sell, so no worries there.

Yeah, I’m not as big on that design, no particular reason just doesn’t draw me too it. I know some people really like them on the back.

For me the draw for doing it this way is more because it’s a little different than for any particular functionality. I don’t currently have any 90 degree cables (mine got lost a couple years back) but I used to do that with my bass all the time, so I’m not *opposed* to the regular side mount...

I was curious about the bend situation. I’ll keep it on the back burner for now, got plenty of time before I have to lock in the build anyway.
