SustainerPlayer, hmm alright. I have listened to many guitar clips on Youtube with SS frets in my reference headphones and I haven't heard any tendency of buzz. If there's a difference that I can hear, then it is that they are a little brighter and better articulated. Thanks for your input...

Can't the buzz problem with SS frets be different depending on what fret size you have? Maybe 6150 is better than 6105 or something (just an example).

SustainerPlayer and SalsaNChips, do you hear the buzz with distortion? If you play rock for example. SustainerPlayer, do you think the SS frets provide so much buzz that you prefer standard frets instead?

Cool plates! DangerousR6, what does one cost? Do I need to supply an own plate or do you have plates? What materials? What's the requirements of the picture you need? Resolution, colors, etc?

That doesn't sound good. But how low is low action with "slight buzzing"? It's pretty vague. I believe in what you're saying. My ears are good and I don't want to fool myself. I have never heard that issue about SS before though. I like pretty low action but not too low, because I play hard.

I want to be able to modify the neck shape, and I will probably want to round the edges. On my standard thin neck the edges around the fretboard are not enough rounded.

I know the answer is obvious for many here, that stainless steel is so durable and good. But how about the sound? I have never tried a guitar with stainless steel frets. People say it makes the guitar sound more "metallic", and I don't know if I would like that. What do you prefer? I'm sorry...

Well, maybe I expressed it in a wrong way. I meant that dust from some wood are toxic. They contain toxic gases that common wood don't. This is said about wenge at Wikipedia: Warmoth also warns about Cocobolo for example. I guess Canary and Pau Ferro are better in this regard.
