    Show your board!

Using a Rockboard XL rechargeable pedal power and a pair of Nux wireless units, the “Sounds of the 70s Skateboard” rolls freely around the jam room.

I like to keep it simple. The Morning Glory is my main sound. It’s practically an “Always On”. Of all the overdrives I’ve tasted, it’s the most delicious.

Rescued a Discontinued Body style Warmoth LPS from a Pawn Shop

In 2013 I started working at a Jeep dealership around the corner from the pawn shop. It had a price tag of $999. Five years ago the yellow “Sale” tag you see here was added, it says $769. I negotiated them down to $615 yesterday.

Rescued a Discontinued Body style Warmoth LPS from a Pawn Shop

Discontinued Warmoth LPS, rescued from the dusty back corner of a pawn shop where it’s apparently been hibernating for over a decade. I can confirm—it’s been sitting there for at least 12 years. Warmoth had to stop making these Gibson-style bodies like the LPS after a 2012 cease and desist from...

Two in progress, Jazzmaster & Thinline

As planned.... On the Thinlines, the one with P90s has a Bubinga top with Bubinga neck wood.  On the one with Humbuckers, it's a Padouk top and Padouk neck wood.  And the Jazzmaster, Maple top, maple neck...

I won the Peel and Play!

I just ordered the neck, bridge, and pickguard from Warmoth. Also, I found some pickup covers I had to have.  Carved from Walnut.

    Jazzmaster, freshly unpeeled!

Peel and Play #10! The search for the right pickguard and pickups begins!  I'll not decide on a neck for a while.

I won the Peel and Play!

That's my Grandson, he's my associate in mischief!  If I didn't peel that thing, he was gonna do it for me (he tried already)!

I won the Peel and Play!

Clear to Black Burst.  As a fan of natural finishes, I'm utterly thrilled.  I'll build this into a beautiful, easy playing, and amazing sounding instrument.  Then I'll play the hell out it!
