I can try to put up pics, but I don't think the frets are hitting the string at all (This happens on open notes as well, and it's only the bottom string). And it is VERY possible I cracked the neck wood.

Ok, so recently I managed to fall over onto one of my guitars, which is pretty bad, except not only did I fall on one of my guitars, I fell on the first one I ever built... I know that I knocked it out of set which isn't a big deal, but it now has a problem that I cannot begin to understand...

I am usually a Gibson man, and as such usually a fan of the Les Paul, Sg, and Explorer shapes, but this guitar is a freakin' beauty. I think the color did it for me, not many orange guitars out there. Nice build.

A friend of mine recently purchased an Epiphone Les Paul which had closed soil pick-ups. (They have the silver covers, I believe that's what closed coil means, but I could be wrong.) He wanted to know if he could remove the silver covers, and if so, will the pick-ups underneath look normal?
