    Is your neck true

    Made this tool after seeing StewMac tool . Depth guage and aluminum channel. First fret and 22nd fret use for zero. Carve a notch for all the other frets. Drill a hole at the ninth fret to measure the crest or trough. Work in progress. Out of pocket $23.

    Neck provenance

    Purchased a Warmoth neck vis a vis Craigslist. In pen it has 1.691.  SS6105 Bt.  Then it is stamped "Warmoth Radius" Adjusted only from the top Any help in figuring out what it is. Stainless 6105 is fret, but that's all I can figure.

    I ordered a showcase neck March 2nd, how long does this process take?  I saw a picture of it and it was complete, why does this  existing product take  more than 3 weeks to arrive? Just want to know. I mean, I've received computer monitors from Amazon in 5 hours, because they already existed...

    What's the going rate for a refret job?

    Putting this out there, why not use 3D printing to replace fret material. Laser sintering can put down SS or ant other metal. You could do 5 necks at a time . Then 15 seconds on a 5 axis CNC and you're ready to dress. With a $1000 an hour rental time you would need to do 5 an hour. Another...
