Actually I just swapped the Callaham bridge and saddles for a Glendale Blackguard bridge and steel saddles and the difference in tone is amazing. Much more classic Telecaster twang now. I love it!!
Thanks for the compliments on the pics. I'm a professional photographer so I guess i've had...
Hi Man,
Sorry - haven't logged in here for a while. I can't remember exactly how much it was - but I think somewhere around $1300.00 so not cheap, but WAY cheaper than the Fender custom shop version. And nicer too I think.
Cheers!

Just finished a couple of final tweaks... I was feeling like it was a little too bright sounding, a little ice-picky and harsh in the bridge pickup so I swapped out the 0.22 cap I had originally used for a 0.47 one. It's now warm and full and delicious in the neck, as expected, and ballsy and...
Just picked it up from Main Drag Music here in Brooklyn NY after a final set up, new bone nut and a fret dressing (although it didn't need much - just the fret ends smoothed off a bit). This thing is really outstanding!!!! Warmoth does really great work!!
I have to say, the more I play this thing the more I am am totally in love with it. It really is absolutely stunning - both to look at and to play. I own five other Telecasters, a beautiful old Strat and a '72 335 and I've barely touched any of them since I completed this build. It really is...
Here's a short clip of just the neck pickup through a 77 Deluxe Reverb (sorry about the buzz... amp needs a little attention). A little blues noodling - nothing fancy...

I normaly don't like modern, Super-Strat type guitars, but this one is something else! It's absolutely stunning and I bet it plays and sounds awesome. Well done on a totally new take on an old classic that is simply beautiful.
Point taken CB - about the bridge, although I find that it gives me a tone that I love. I have that bridge on a couple of other Tele's and although probably not for the strict Telecaster purist - it's a winner as far as I am concerned. It gives a fuller tone with more sustain (IMHO) than lighter...
Thanks for all the nice comments guys!!
Of all of my 12 guitars - this is by far the best player. I just love the unfinished neck. It sounds amazing too! Am sooooooo happy with it.
Soloshchenko: I'm originally from London, but I've lived in New York for the last 7 years or so...
Thanks again...
