I measured the heel (56.1 mm) and the neck pocket (55.68 mm) at their widest. Is 0.42 mm too much to ask for from humidity alone?

Is 55% relative humidity enough to swell a pocket to the point of an impossible fit? I've cleared away all paint and I'm just really trying not to sand wood unless I absolutely have to. The neck I'm using is roasted so I'm assuming it isn't going to budge in my direction. Will waiting for winter...

You guys know where I can find a GOOD mint green pickguard for a Strat? I don’t need the genuine article but I’d like something that’s convincing unlike these modern manufactured ones that are just colored that way.

Correct, that’s the reason I didn’t just go with wizard in the first place. I opted for vintage/modern. Lesson learned.

To completely honest, the only reason why I'm opting for SS is because I watched a video on installing inserts and the dude said don't use brass because it sucks. In your opinion, why brass over SS?
