It's all about priorities... a guitar maker's priority should be the guitar obviously - the mission is everything. If money or market share or anything else becomes the number one priority then the guitar will suffer and then, ironically, the money will suffer. I'm just glad I found Warmoth...

I still don't understand why binding is not available, does the binding process increase the height of the fingerboard or something? What difference is there in a bound neck in terms of dimensions?
Thanks... I doubt warmoth would stop spalt altogether seeing how popular it is... they probably sold out for now, but im sure they'll be back... It's a jungle out there when it comes to spalt tops - they sell like hot cakes
