There is no option for routing for a battery box on a hollow body tele bass.  I assume, to just use some of the hollow area to put the batteries in a battery box?  My problem is where and how to secure it?

hello, I am thinking of a maple body (which needs to be finished?) and a wenge/or other non finish needed type top.  1. how do I get warmoth to just finish the maple on the back? 2. how would I finish just the back myself without messing up the top?

I am looking at making a 3 pickup bass.  With three pbass pickups.  I was considering volume knobs for each one and then a tone knob.  Are there any inherent problems with that setup?
