I'm just on the edge of building a strat style guitar, and I'm really stumped on what unique choice laminate top I should get. There's one quilted maple top I would like to get, but the figuring seems too light to be seen. What do you guys think? Too light, or is it beautiful? (The number is LT560) 

I'm about to get some Schaller locking tuners for my strat neck from Stewmac and have a small problem. The specs on Stewmac say that the Schaller tuners need a 13/32" diameter tuner hole while the tuner holes for Schaller tuners on the Warmoth site have 25/64. Would the Schaller locking tuners...

I'm almost ready to order a chambered mahogany strat body, but I'm still wondering about what neck woods I should use. I would prefer the neck with just exotic woods. The strat's also going to have two humbuckers instead of single coil pickups.

I'm thinking of building a strat, and was wondering if anyone else on the forum has a chambered stratocaster, especially one with a f-hole. Are there a lot of pros and cons that are really noticeable, other than weight? 

I'm wondering on what type of locking tuner I should buy (for six in line), the grover locking tuners or the sperzel locking tuners. I would like the one with a higher gear ratio and maybe on preference. Thanks!
