You can tell that it is slightly thinner but it’s not a night and day difference. Standard thin is definitely my preference in profiles. Fender C would be a close second.

I haven't decided for sure the specifics yet, but I'll use a humbucker ring and some single coil rings. Warmoth doesn't list any single coil pickup rings on their site, but if you do a Google search for "single coil pickup rings strat", you'll find plenty of results.

I think they’re usually quarter sawn. I’m pretty sure every Warmoth neck I’ve ever had (10 or so) were all quarter sawn. I'm going to retract this. I took a closer look at my necks and I'm honestly not sure what any of them are now! :ROFLMAO:

I wasn’t. I’m originally from So-Cal but lived in Kona for 10 years. I had to leave due to work and I miss it a lot. :cry: On the plus side……… practically everything is free shipping here though! :ROFLMAO: I’d rather have the surf and turtles though.

Koa doesn’t grown on the mainland and the availability to get it to the mainland is quite a bit less.

This release is much better than the unique choice options from last year. I’m not saying they were bad or anything but definitely not on the same level as these and the options last year were pretty minimal.
