These blanks are still sitting next to my desk doing a whole lot of nothing. Oh wait, I should say they are 'seasoning' in a temperature controlled room awaiting peak ripeness before crafting into some of the most rare and awesome necks ever seen by man. But in actuality we've been so busy...
I won't know what we can even get out of it until our wood processing guys take a good look at it. The boards are definitely not wide enough for the arcade head though.
I've seen a lot of Koa in my time, but I've NEVER before seen Birdseye Koa 😍. We're going to make several necks from these two boards and they're sure to be something special. Just had to share with y'all.
Care to share your spec ideas for these necks? Peg head shape? Fingerboard? Inlay?
I wouldn't recommend sanding your Boat down to a Standard Thin. There appears to be more wood to work with on these neck profiles, but underneath the truss rod has been located closer to the surface than you might think. The truss rod channel on Boat and Fatback necks are cut deeper. This helps...
Looky what i found in the spare parts drawer. I meant to put these up for sale as replacement parts for LSR but forgot about it. Be glad to send you a pair. If you would like them just email me your address and I'll mail them out to you.

Although the black are a different looking screw, they work for the same purpose just fine. The black screws that are sold separately match the screws that come with the plastic mounting rings we sell. The chrome and gold screws will gradually switch over to match the new style.
That's not cool to get your brand new body with a dent. Please contact us at Warmoth and we can bring it back for repair or give you some other options.
