For some reason I thought the 7/8 builder stated that it had to be a 7/8 neck when I bought mine.
I would have bought the Mustang neck if I knew it would have worked. Still love the guitar though, aside from the headstock.
Every time I custom order I end up second guessing myself as I wait. I have not cancelled or changed any, and once they are built I am always impressed. If you cancel, it I may buy it from the Screamin' Deals section!
I searched, and then bought, a box of 5" random orbital discs. Add "ultra fine" to your query and they popped right up! 10 each from 400-2000 grit. Will make it easier to rough one out before a little hand finishing!
I bought a roasted alder 2 tek routed Jazzmaster body, when I saw that 2 tek bridges were actually back in stock. I have the body prepped for install, but I am wondering if anyone has a recommended way of grounding the bridge. In the install instructions it says that it needs to be grounded. ...
I wish I could see ALL in stock necks (and bodies) and sort from there. The only option I am seeing is to sort from individual headstock (body shape) styles. Is there a workaround?
Just about got this one whipped. Waiting on knobs to arrive this week, but otherwise this one has come together and is playing beautifully! Will pay some pics when I get it done.
I was thinking the same thing about the old musician's friend (and AMS) mailers from the 90's. I spent so many hours thumbing through those! It would be fun to see then again.
